In June I added a new feature on my home page: Object of the Month. Each month I will put up a piece that represents what I am currently working on.
This month's object is a bracelet/necklace piece. The pearl extender turns the bracelet into a necklace. This is one of a new series that incorporates both my coiled beaded bead and my knotted element. I asked for ideas for naming the series and the one I picked for the series is a simple one, "UPTOWN", submitted by Rita Podolak. Thanks to all of you. I will show this series for the first time at the Uptown Fair. Pieces in this series are in the $300 range.
I have now posted my new "Desert Series" pieces. Just go to GALLERY and then DESERT SILVER. Yes, I think desert colors are now in my blood!
My next show is UPTOWN ART FAIR , in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Dates are August 1-3. I am on the MALL, booth # 4206. I am happy to be returning to this show. Look for lots of new work, as well as a new series of beaded corncobs for those of you that remember them from shows in the past!
